About Me

Dr Katie Browne is a Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, and her M.A. in Applied Psychology (Mental Health) from University College Cork. Katie completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College Dublin. Katie's thesis focused on mental health help-seeking among marginalised youth in Ireland.

Throughout her 7 years of clinical experience, Katie has worked with individuals, families and groups presenting with a wide variety of issues and concerns.

Katie is an LGBTQIA+ psychologist who can offer a safe and non-judgemental space for individuals who would like to discuss or explore aspects of their sexuality, gender identity or diverse relationships. Katie is also neuroaffirmative and can support individuals explore suitability for assessments for Autism, ADHD or a specific learning difficulty.​ Katie's extensive experiences working in HSE and private mental health services, as well as forensic, homeless and disability services, enables her to provide you with the support you need.​ 

Katie is currently working alongside the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Surgeons.
